Distributing your podcast is easier than ever before

Our goal is to create the best all-in-one podcast creation app, one which is portable, flexible and works for every level of podcasters.

This year we’ve made two further steps towards achieving this goal: in February we announced our first post-production feature, allowing iOS users to edit while on-the-go, and in January we added a new navigation bar, giving users clear access to their episodes drafts, previous episodes, and stats.

Continuing this mission of creating an app tailored to podcasters’ needs, we’re super excited to announce the launch of a new update.

Be ready to enjoy our one-tap podcast distribution feature, a function we know will help to remove some of the complications and fuss out of creating a podcast!

One Tap Distribution – Minimum Effort, Maximum Results

Our new and improved version of Spreaker Studio has been designed with you in mind – we know that the potential of your podcast lies in excellent distribution which is why we wanted to make it as easy as possible for you with one-touch podcast syndication. One tap will give you (both Android and iOS users) the power to reach literally millions of new listeners by publishing to Apple Podcasts, Spotify, iHeartRadio, Google Podcasts and Spreaker.

It goes without saying that your podcast should be on Apple Podcasts and Spotify, the two market giants, are constantly expanding and their industry power is undeniable. Apple Podcasts hosts over 619,000 podcasts alone, and Spotify’s increasing podcast power is shown through their increasing dominance of territories, by the end of 2018, they had earned a 10 to 25% market share on various podcast hosting platforms.



Also, once a podcast is available on Apple Podcasts it automatically becomes available on other key listening platforms such as Breaker, Pocket Casts, Overcast and more – giving you the opportunity to literally double your audience.

The importance of good distribution is equally as important as creating excellent content, that’s why we wanted to make it super straightforward for our users.

Instead of thinking ‘where should I submit my podcast?’ and the need to access individual platforms, we’ve removed one step so you can quickly access and distribute straight from one location. What’s more, the one-tap functionality means that you can literally record and distribute a podcast in seconds, wherever and whatever you’re doing.

Submit Your Podcast, We’ll Take Care of the Rest

Start enjoying our podcast distribution service immediately. It’s so easy to get distributing, all you need to do is have your episodes recorded and ready to share (a minimum of 1 for Spotify and 3 for Apple Podcasts), choose your podcast distribution platform of choice and tap ‘submit’ – we’ll do the rest. A little tip from us to make sure you’re accepted ASAP is to make sure your podcast contains the following: your podcast’s name, a category, a description, your episodes (with titles!), episode’s descriptions and cover art.

Then it’s just a matter of waiting up to 48 hours to have your podcast approved (note it will be available immediately on Spreaker and Spreaker Radio). As soon as your podcast is accepted you’ll be notified by e-mail, but you can always check in on the status via the app – that way you can see whether it’s been approved, waiting approval or rejected.

Apart from seeking to make our user journey a more seamless experience, we also want to make it more visually engaging, which is why we’ve redesigned the interface of our podcast page for both iOS and Android users.

Now, when you’re in Spreaker Studio it’s possible to see all your podcasts at a glance, tap to quickly access a podcasts’s episode list to add a new podcast.
