Taylor Swift opened up about getting her masters back on New Heights, getting visibly emotional while talking about the efforts her mom and brother went to in order to help her reclaim her music, music videos, and album artwork.
Tay also explained what it was like to tell Travis Kelce about the news, saying “I was weeping, like ‘Really? Really, what do you mean?’ I was like, ‘Get your shit together just go tell Travis in a normal way.’ I knock on the door, he’s playing video games and I try to say it in a normal way. I’m like, ‘TRAVIS….” He puts his headset down.”
Tay said she started weeping immediately, getting super emotional while Travis comforted her and noting “Just start absolutely heaving crying, dropped, had no power in my legs to support myself. Yeah, this changed my life. I can’t believe it still, every time I think about it, it’s like I have to tell the short version to everyone. This will affect the rest of my life. I think about this every day now but instead of it being an intrusive thought that hurts me, I’m like I cant believe this happens, how lucky am I?”
As for how Travis reacted, he said “I started crying too, you know I’m a crier,” while Taylor added, “You were weeping.”
