Artist Foundry – Self-Distrubution & Marketing Panel
September 18, 2025
This panel will explore self-distribution as a key strategy for filmmakers seeking to maintain creative control over their films and how to build the marketing budget and campaign that makes self-distribution a success. Featuring expert filmmakers, distributors, and strategists including acclaimed filmmakers, Dr. Jenny Mackenzie and Sohrab Mirmont, EVP of Global Theatrical Distribution at Angel Studios, Brandon Purdie, and Publicist and Owner of Zions Indie Film Fest, Michelle Moore.

Park City Film – Reel Community Series
August 13-September 18, 2025
Our longest running community program introduces our patrons to films that expand their view of the world and connects them to other members of the Park City community by deepening their understanding of complex, diverse and sometimes challenging, topics. These free screenings are presented in partnership with local non-profit organizations and are followed by panel discussions or Q&A’s. We select films that reflect not only the mission of our partners, but also the interests of our community – with a focus on creating a platform for engaged and inclusive community conversation.

Utah Documentary Association Work-in-Progress Screening

Our Work-in-Progress Screenings provide a supportive space for you to showcase your unfinished documentary projects. Receive constructive feedback from fellow filmmakers and industry professionals, enhance your narrative, and ensure your final film resonates deeply with your audience. This invaluable opportunity empowers filmmakers to make informed creative decisions to strengthen the documentary’s impact.

(Open to U of U Students) View from the U covers topics, issues, or events that entertain, inform, and enable. We are the student ran video production here at the University of Utah! Being involved with View from the U is meant to allow you to explore your creativity and develop your skills in video production. On each project, you will be required to try something new and work along with others to create something awesome for the campus community!

Leicester Productions Student Fellowship Program
Always accepting applications
One of our foremost objectives is to empower local students. These student fellows have the chance to collaborate with our program managers in creating a short documentary that highlights a local story.

Movie Mondays at Foothill
Every Monday at 4 to 6pm
Afternoon flicks at Foothill! We’ll screen recent and classic movies on the 3rd Monday of select months, from 4–6pm. One small bag of popcorn and a bottle of water will be provided for each attendee.

Idea Colab
Every Wednesday at 1 to 3pm
Expand your Adobe Express and podcasting/video creation and editing skill sets with demos from Digital Learning Technologies (DLT) staff. Join us for an “idea colab” workshop at the Faculty Center in the J. Willard Marriott Library, and unleash your potential at the intersection of innovation and imagination.

Open Studio
Every Friday 3 to 7pm
Ages 13-19 – Spy Hop’s longest running walk-in music workshop! It’s literally an open studio full of musical gear for you to use! If you love to write songs or you’re just beginning the process, Open Studio is for you!

12 Minutes Max
3rd Sunday Each Month
Local artists perform or present short works in a variety of media, including music, dance, film, and spoken word. Held the third Sunday of each month.
