Looks like Halle Berry is hitting back against her ex David Justice when it comes to recent comments he made about her in the press that got a looooooooot of backlash.
In case you missed it, former MLB player David—who was married to Halle from 1993 to 1997—felt the need to chat about their marriage on the All the Smoke podcast.
“I was young, and had only been in one real relationship before her, my knowledge and my understanding, my wisdom around relationships just wasn’t vast,” he said. “I’m looking at my mom, and I’m a Midwest guy. So in my mind, I’m thinking a wife at that time should cook, clean, you know, and then I’m thinking, ‘Okay, if we have kids, is this the woman I want to have kids with and build a family with?’ And at that time, as a young guy, she don’t cook, don’t clean, don’t really seem motherly—and then we start having issues.”
Cut to Halle, who not-that-subtly responded to David by posting a bikini pic with her boyfriend,Van Hunt, which she captioned “Phew…! cooking, cleaning and mothering.”

Halle and Van have been together since 2020 (they connected via phone calls during the pandemic), and she gushed about him in 2022, saying “We were forced to let only our brains connect and discover if we had a connection before our bodies decided to get involved. I’d never done it this way. I fell in love with his mind, his conversation.”
