Soooooo, I have a question for the group…

The funniest thing happened at our Big Salad event last week in Chicago. While chatting with the hilarious critic Hunter Harris, I brought up this scene in Succession:

Here’s my conversation with Hunter (at 11:13 in the recording, if you’d like to listen):

Joanna: I have a question to ask the group because I was the real outlier in the green room. Do you remember the scene where Shiv and Tom played Bitey at the party?

Hunter and the audience: Yes.

Joanna: Yeah, so they each they put their arms like this, and they each had to bite the other person’s arm until somebody was, like, uncle. And then whoever kept biting was the winner. So, I was like, that sounds really weird and fun. Like, I kind of want to play Bitey. And then everybody [in the green room] was like, um… So, can everyone just, like, clap or raise your hand if you would also play Bitey?

[TOTAL SILENCE FROM AUDIENCE, then laughter]

Joanna: Oh my god.

Hunter: Okay, no one has played Bitey.

Joanna: Wow. Wowwwwwww. Actually, that was a bit. I don’t want to play Bitey. I never wanted to play it. I would never play Bitey.

Trying in vain to make my point lol.

Still laughing! So, please share: Do you think Bitey sounds like a fun flirty game to play with a crush or partner? Or would you never? Tell me I’m not alone!

P.S. The live recording and transcript of the Chicago event, and is this the sexiest podcast?
