If you’ve been wondering why Travis Kelce didn’t end up going to Singapore to watch Taylor Swift perform, that’d be because he was supporting his brother Jason Kelce’s Eagles retirement announcement.

Travis showed up with the rest of the Kelce family to cheer Jason on during his retirement speech, but was clearly keeping Tay close based on his stack of friendship bracelets—one of which featured “T <3 T" in black and gold beads.

Travis was seen getting visibly emotional (by which I mean he was wiping away free-flowing tears) during Jason’s speech—especially when his brother talked about their childhood together and said, “We have a small family, no cousins, one aunt and one uncle. It was really my brother and I our whole lives. We did almost everything together, competed, fought, laughed, cried, and learned from each other.”

Here they are giving each other a hug following Jason’s press conference:

And if you missed the footballer’s actual retirement announcement, he said, “So this all brings us here to today, where I announce that I am retiring. Where I announce I am retiring from the NFL after 13 seasons with the Philadelphia Eagles and today, I must admit, I am officially overrated, vastly overrated.”

Though, honestly? The sweetest part of the entire thing was Jason talking about meeting his wife Kylie Kelce and experiencing love at first sight the moment she walked into the bar where they met:

Cool, will be here crying if you need me.
