Tomorrow X Together—also known as TXT—just made their highly anticipated VMAs debut with none other than Brazilian baddie Anitta. The former MTV PUSH artists premiered their new collaboration with the Latin music star, making them the first K-Pop band to cross genres at the awards show. “Back for More” blends Anitta’s Brazilian roots with TXT’s Korean flair, and their joint star power shined throughout their show-stopping performance.

TXT earned four nominations at this year’s VMAs, including Best K-Pop and Push Performance of the Year, and took home some hardware! Their third album The Name Chapter: FREEFALL drops this October, which means we’ll be fed with more infectious hits from the K-Pop group.
Ahead of the awards show, the band teased their track with Anitta on Instagram. “Making our way to VMAs with @anitta (~˙∇˙)~📣,” they captioned the post.
As for Miss Anitta, she gave her first-ever VMAs performance in 2022 with a steamy rendition of her number one hit, “Envolver.” During last year’s show, she graced us with this iconic quote: “VMAs! Did you think I wasn’t going to shake my ass tonight?” This year wasn’t any different as she teamed up with TXT to bring “Back for More” to an international audience. She also brought on the heat as she sang a medley of hits from her latest release, Funk Generation: A Favela Love Story.
Per Billboard, several versions of “Back for More” will be released ahead of TXT’s album. The song is described as a “disco track with a groovy baseline and playful whistling sounds, adorned with the colorful hues of trendy Latin pop.” This is truly the crossover of the century, and I’m suddenly trying to figure out my TXT bias, TYSM.
