Fans of The Traitors U.K., get excited. The series has officially been confirmed for a third season! The first season of The Traitors U.K. first dropped on the BBC in November 2022, and instantly become a firm fan fave, with an audience of 21 million. The second season is airing on the BBC in the U.K. this month.
The series sees a group of 22 contestants move into a large castle together, and a few of them are chosen by host Claudia Winkleman to be the “the Traitors” of the group. The Traitors are tasked with “killing off” the rest of the group, known as ” the Faithfuls,” one by one without anyone else suspecting them. The Traitors and Faithfuls work against each other in the hope of walking away with up to $150,000.
After the success of season 1, the U.K. series was renewed a second time with the follow up series airing weekly starting January 3. And it only takes one glimpse at X (formerly Twitter) to know fans are completely and utterly obsessed with the new series, in large thanks to the likes of Paul and Diane.

On November 3, 2023, before season 2 of The Traitors U.K. aired, the BBC confirmed a third series would officially be happening.
Kalpna Patel-Knight, Head of Entertainment at the BBC, said, “The massive unscripted hit The Traitors will be back for a third series. Expect to see more psychological gameplay, exciting challenges, and of course Claudia at the helm. It will be a thrilling ride for both avid fans and newcomers to the series for sure. The BBC will always remain faithful to The Traitors.”

How do you apply for The Traitors U.K. season 3?
The good news doesn’t stop there, as applications to join The Traitors U.K. season 3 are officially open. To take part in the show, you must be at least 18 years old at the time of applying and must be available to take part in the filming, which could last for up to six weeks and is tentatively slated for spring/summer 2024.
