ICYMI, Taylor Swift pulled up to the Kansas City Chiefs game again last night (yes, for the third time!!!) to cheer on Travis Kelce and hang out with Mama Donna. (You can read all about it here, FYI.) In addition to donning a Chiefs zip-up windbreaker, a classic red lip, and some chic gold jewelry, Taylor was also spotted with another accessory du jour: a canned cocktail, which she sipped on throughout the game.
As a Swiftie, it was obviously my duty to find out exactly which bev she sipped on…and honestly, now that I have, it makes a ton of sense. It’s Casa Azul Tequila Soda—a 5% ABV canned cocktail brand that Travis invested in earlier this year (you can see it in front of her in the TikTok from ESPN below!). He announced that he was joining the company just days before playing in (and, ahem, winning) the 2023 Super Bowl, with a press release that read, “I’m excited to turn up and announce my investment in Casa Azul Tequila Soda. To all the other hard seltzer brands out there, know your role and shut your mouth!” Okay, Trav! You tell ’em!

The idea behind the drink is that you don’t have to pull out your bar tools or put on your mixologist hat for a good tequila-based cocktail—you just need to crack open a can. (So yeah, pay attention, lazy booze-lovers!)
While Taylor appeared to be going in on the classic Lime Margarita flavor (a girl after my own heart), the brand also makes Strawberry Margarita, Peach Mango, and Watermelon, in addition to selling regular bottles of tequila. You can buy an eight-pack of each canned cocktail flavor, or a variety pack featuring all four. The price will vary based on where you’re located, but seems to be around $20 to $30 in most places.
Now, I’m not saying that you need to buy a pack ahead of the Chiefs’ next game on Sunday against the Los Angeles Chargers, but…I’m also not not saying that. I mean, if it’s good enough for Tay, it’s good enough for me. I recommend grabbing some on Drizly, because you can shop around for the best price and they’ll deliver it straight to your door. Can’t beat that! Go sports!
