Suki Waterhouse and Robert Pattinson are adjusting to life under one roof together.

The ultra-private couple, who started dating back in 2018, decided to move in together about six months ago, Suki revealed during a guest appearance on Apple podcast Driven Minds: A Type 7.

“I’ve been having such a crushing weight of anxiety because I’ve moved. I wasn’t there for the move, so everything just got boxed up and sent,” the actor told host Gillian Sagansky. She added that she hired a professional cleaner to help organize her “collection of mess.”

The Daisy Jones & The Six star, who said she got used to living alone prior to the move, continued, “It doesn’t feel like that much of a crazy thing. And I’m very lucky because he is so accepting of the mess and the chaos. He never says anything about it. He kind of thinks it’s like, charming. So I’m very lucky for that.”

Suki also opened up about dating Robert after embarking on “a bout of celibacy.”

Of what inspired her to take the celibacy route, she said, “I’ve been ghosted and broken up with after dating someone for a year, that was pretty bad.” She ended up ignoring several “blinding red flags” and dating people who were “just cheating on you all the time.”

Her six-month long celibacy period culminated in her “extra special” introduction to the Twilight star.

“It’s just something about taking away the chaos of receiving attention, having to deal with it and texting people and getting those lurches of excitement,” she explained. “It turned out to be great. I got very clear and got very comfortable with being by myself—then I ended up meeting my boyfriend.”

She prioritizes security and stability in her relationship, especially as her work schedule keeps her busy. “For me, the one thing that I really cherish in relationships is when somebody is just completely understanding,” Suki said. “I always think the home is the sanctuary and that’s why you leave everything outside.”

She continued, “When that home center is secured, that’s the most wonderful thing and that’s the most important thing to me.”
