Could Travis Kelce be entering his Lover era with Taylor Swift? The NFL player hit up the hottest club in New York one of her Eras Tour stops in Kansas City, and he seemingly tried to shoot his shot with the Grammy-winner after hearing of her single status. In the spirit of sharing friendship bracelets during the concert, Travis pulled up with a bracelet he had made with his phone number on it. But his play was intercepted, as he never had a chance to give it to the “Cruel Summer” crooner.

“If you’re up on Taylor Swift concerts, there are friendship bracelets, and I received a bunch of them being there, but I wanted to give Taylor Swift one with my number on it,” the Kansas City Chiefs tight end revealed on his New Heights podcast.

While Taylor previously held special fan meet and greets during past tours, she famously isn’t hosting any during the Eras Tour, as she plays a 3-and-a-half-hour set. Travis expressed how bummed he was to miss Tay but commended her for performing in front of a “wild” crowd at Arrowhead Stadium, where he typically plays for the Kansas City Chiefs.

“I was disappointed that she doesn’t talk before or after her shows because she has to save her voice for the 44 songs that she sings,” he explained, adding he was “a little butt-hurt” that he couldn’t chat with her.

“She doesn’t meet anybody—or at least she didn’t want to meet me, so I took it personal,” he joked during the podcast.

Travis unfortunately wasn’t “the lucky one” this time, but hopefully we see some sort of interaction—or, perhaps, a music video cameo 🤔—unravel between these two legends soon.
