With an engineering and management background, Sheila Adel is a problem-solver extraordinaire, offering skincare solutions for women who suffer from the discomfort of vaginal dryness.

A successful entrepreneur identifies a problem, creates a solution, and markets it to a broad audience who shares the same need. Some issues are so personal that those who are suffering do so in silence. Entrepreneurs are risk-takers. For the sake of a good cause, they are willing to put themselves in uncomfortable situations and engage in difficult conversations. Sheila Adel, founder of Lady Ease, a feminine skincare company, is bravely offering solutions to growing numbers of women who suffer from vaginal dryness. Sheila teamed up with her daughters, Malek Adel and Parveen Adel, to launch the business and the Lady Ease feminine skincare line. These women often felt unsatisfied with what product options were available, making them feel that the ongoing symptoms of aging are unresolvable. Adel identified a problem she was experiencing personally, created Lady Ease products as a solution, and now she is sharing them with the world.

Adel had a successful career before launching her skincare business. She earned a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and a master’s in Engineering Management, before spending 34 years in the electric power industry working for the Bonneville Power Administration. While there, Adel worked in roles related to residential technology designed for energy conservation, designing installations of high voltage and fiber optic cables on transmission lines, and in research and development for technology innovation of high voltage transmission systems.

Following her retirement from the power industry, Adel served as the Chief Operations Officer in her daughter and son-in-law’s company, High Performance Homes. In this role, she optimized systems, processes and procedures to lead the company into becoming a top home improvement company. Sheila Adel is a problem-solver extraordinaire!

Adel’s experience with aging prompted research regarding her issues with vaginal dryness. Around age 50, she began experiencing menopausal symptoms. She sought medical counsel about the discomfort she was experiencing and tried products that only offered a temporary fix or made the problem worse. Many products were irritating, ingredient lists made her feel unsafe, and she always felt there was something off about them.

Through inquiry and research, Adel learned about the root cause of the condition of vaginal dryness. As menopause approaches, there is a reduction of estrogen in the female body, which affects the skin covering the body. Especially in the vaginal area, skin loses its thickness, becoming thin, dry, and easily irritated. Gathering all the facts made Adel aware that she had a real problem that would not be going away, for which she needed a skincare solution. Problem-solver that she is, Adel would not be satisfied with anything less than the best. “I wanted skincare products with the highest-quality ingredients, without additives, that would be safe for my body,” says Adel.

Adel’s products have been researched, developed, tested, and designed. Lady Ease VM Oil, VM Cream, and VM Serum are primed and ready for discovery. These nourishing products vary in the way they feel and in the effect they have on the skin. The gentle VM Oil goes on light to plump and comfort, the emollient VM Cream protects and nourishes, while the VM Serum has a light silky feel to calm and soothe. Depending on the activities of the day, a customer can choose to apply one or all of the products to achieve the comfort and ease for a just-right feel. Each product is soothing, loaded with natural ingredients, sustainably sourced, non-toxic, and free of hormones, paraben, fragrance, preservatives, and chemicals. Lady Ease products can be purchased individually or as a set.

Although the most significant population suffering from vaginal dryness is mature women, all ages can be affected. Some women experience vaginal dryness at different times in their menstrual cycle, in the months following pregnancy, or while undergoing cancer treatment. “My goal is to make women feel more beautiful and comfortable in their own skin,” says Adel. “I want to give them peace of mind that the skincare solutions Lady Ease offers will help, not harm, their bodies.”

It seems incredibly smart to trust products made for women by a woman. Sheila Adel is on a mission to share the experience, strength, and hope gained from finding resolution to her personal problem with vaginal dryness. Through her Lady Ease products, Adel confirms her belief that women deserve to feel beautiful and enjoy comfort, peace of mind, pleasure, individuality, and excellent self-care. As a post-menopausal woman, Adel has walked a mile in their shoes and is committed to making the journey more comfortable for women all over the world.
