Barbiecore is everywhere we look, and we are *loving* it. It seems the world is fully embracing Barbiemania in the run-up to the movie release this summer, starring the legendary Margot Robbie, as the doll herself. It’s not just us that’s loving this pink extravaganza, the celebs seem to be fully on board with it, too.
From Sophie Turner returning to the Barbie-approved blonde hair color to Kim K’s bubblegum blush, it seems we’re all living in a Barbie World. The latest celeb to say “come on, Barbie, let’s go party”, is Shay Mitchell, and we have to say, it’s possibly our favorite take on the icon so far.
The Pretty Little Liars actress took to Instagram to debut the new Barbie transformation and we have no words. Just look:
Shay’s signature dark locks have been swapped for bleached perfection, and can we talk about how perfect this ponytail is? Iconic.
If that wasn’t enough, she’s also paired the look with a cutesy pink bow and pastel blue eyeshadow. Barbie would have *so* wanted it this way.
We’re not going to get ahead of ourselves here and put in a disclaimer that this may be indeed a wig, but here’s hoping Shay has fully committed to this doll-like beauty transformation. She’s a vision.
It’s also left some fans having to do a double take after confusing her with one celeb in particular. One guess as to who it is…
