Since going public with their romance last month, neither Selena nor Benny have shied away from posting glimpses of their life together.

On December 15, a source spoke to Entertainment Tonight about how comfortable Selena feels with her partner. “She feels so safe and secure with him, so she felt like it was a good time to share how happy she is with her fans,” the source said, alluding to when Selena confirmed the two were dating. “Benny is a great communicator, is honest and open with Selena, and listens to her. He’s respectful, isn’t a player, and not in it for the attention or fame. He doesn’t care about any of that, and Selena sees that and really trusts him.”

Selena was already getting attention on social media yesterday due to an interview she gave about her music career. In the interview, she hinted that she plans to just focus on acting in the future.

During her chat on Jason Bateman, Sean Hayes, and Will Arnett’s SmartLess podcast, she said, via Deadline, “I started having a lot of fun with music and then touring was really fun. But I was doing my TV show at the same time [Wizards of Waverly Place], and I just found it really fun, so I just kept going, but the older I get, the more I’m kind of like, I would like to find something to just settle on.”

She added that she isn’t done yet though. (Selena has been teasing an upcoming new album for months.)

“I do feel like I have one more album in me, but I would probably choose acting [if asked to pick between it and music],” she said. When the three hosts pointed out that she doesn’t need to choose one and could do both, she replied, “You’re right, but I am going to want to chill, because I’m tired.”
