Sarah Jessica Parker made her second red-carpet appearance this week for the New York City Ballet, and this time, husband Matthew Broderick came with her.

The two attended the New York City Ballet’s 2023 Fall Gala, held at the David H. Koch Theater in Lincoln Center.

The Sex and the City icon served as one of the gala chairs for the event alongside best friend Andy Cohen and fellow stars Laverne Cox, Claire Danes, Hugh Dancy, Diane Kruger, and Naomi Watts.

For the grand occasion, SJP put a sophisticated spin on balletcore, as she wore a little black dress and matching hair bow. The pretty cocktail dress from Carolina Herrera’s Fall/Winter 2023 collection featured an off-the-shoulder neckline, long sleeves, and a structured bodice with sleek rectangular cutouts at the center. The skirt was made of tulle, and flowed out into pretty, airy layers, like a ballerina’s tutu.

SJP wore the piece with mismatches shoes—silky sandals with a jewel brooch embellishment, one soft pink and one black. To complete the ballet-inspired ensemble, she adorned her slicked-back half-up hairdo with a giant black bow. As for accessories, she carried a slinky silver jewel-encrusted hand bag, and wore silver and diamond jewelry, including large diamond stud earrings, a Vacheron Constantin watch lined with small diamonds, and various silver rings.

Sarah Jessica Parker’s dark, elegant take on the balletcore trend continued with her glam. Apart from the slicked hairstyle, she wore an inky-black smoky eye, rosy blush, a glossy pink lip, and a short black mani-pedi.

Her husband of 26 years, Matthew, coordinated with her in a classic black tuxedo.

This Monday, SJP also supported the New York City Ballet by hosting a bash at Bergdorf Goodman. There, she also looked lovely in a little black dress, that time from Reformation.
