Sandra Bullock is embracing summer like a stylish, comfy legend.

The Lost City star was spotted on a rare outing in Los Angeles yesterday, looking stunning in an elegant floral sundress. The piece was orange and featured a large flower print in blue, pink, and white. It was cinched at the waist with a thin belt and included puff sleeves and an ample skirt.

Bullock opted for comfort by styling the colorful dress with gray Birkenstocks, and she additionally accessorized with Loewe’s mini raffia basket bag, rose-tinted round sunglasses, black beaded bracelets, and gold jewelry including small hoop earrings, bangles, and rings. The actor had her hair swept up into a messy bun and wore minimal rosy makeup. In photos, she is walking toward a car, carrying a glass vase filled with white and pink flowers.

Bullock’s fashionable outing came one day after she celebrated her 59th birthday, on July 26.

BACKGRID

The star, who has given us cult classics like Miss Congeniality, timeless rom-coms like The Proposal, and award-winning films like The Blind Side, has been lying low since she announced her hiatus from acting last year.

“I don’t want to be beholden to anyone’s schedule other than my own,” she told The Hollywood Reporter in an interview published last June. “I’m so burnt out. I’m so tired, and I’m so not capable of making healthy, smart decisions and I know it.”

The actor said in a previous interview, published in March, that she takes her job “very seriously” when she has an upcoming film, but for the time being, she explained, “I just want to be 24/7 with my babies and my family. That’s where I’m gonna be for a while.”

Bullock—who has been with photographer Bryan Randall since 2015—is mom to 13-year-old son Louis and 11-year-old daughter Laila.
