While we’ll be the first ones to admit that we spend an ungodly amount of time pouring over the Instagram feeds of our fave celebs each day—and subsequently finding ourselves saving basically every single one of their outfits for future inspo—, there is something to be said about the appeal of an old-school street-style pic.
Not sure about you, but we can’t help but be totally fascinated by what celebs *really* wear day in and day out and seeing how they dress for the most mundane of tasks. Because as much as we’d like to think we might just get that Met Gala invite one day, it’s celebs’ off-duty style that is way more likely to *actually* influence us to emulate it anytime soon.
Which is why we simply cannot stop staring at the latest pic of Emily Ratajkowski walking her dog in Manhattan earlier this week. Only *she* could look this good while doing so…
While our usual dog-walking lewk is more “frazzled woman” than anything even close to being described as chic, EmRata is out here putting us all to shame with her casual-yet-still-sexy ‘fit. Oh, to be a supermodel…
Forget bleary eyes, old sweats, and—and at push—leggings. The mother-of-one stepped out looking as glorious as ever in a pair of unbuttoned, low-rise baggy jeans, white trainers, and a graphic-print plunging halter top. The only thing *mildly* similar to us mere mortals’ dog-walking looks is the fact that she didn’t bother putting on a bra. We feel ya, gurl.
Em’s whole look is super on-trend too: The low jeans are *so* Y2K, while her sliiiightly cropped top reveals the perfect hint of bare belly. If you look super closely, it looks like she’s wearing one half of a heart-shaped friendship necklace, too. WHAT a throwback! Excuse us while we dig out our old (embarrassingly tarnished) ones, stat.
EmRata is slowly but surely asserting herself as *the* street style qween, and has been spotted walking around NYC in various fab ‘fits recently while running errands. Just the other day, in fact, she sported another nineties-inspired ‘fit for a shopping trip, feat. a bandana-print silky skirt, suede cowboy boots, and a black string choker.
At this rate, we’ll be bashing out the best bits from our teen archives as opposed to buying anything new this summer! At least it’s sustainable…
