Every time Meghan Markle steps out in a public appearance, without fail, I always think to myself, “She is just so damn chic.” Recently, the Duchess of Sussex visited Nigeria with Prince Harry and of course, every outfit she wore had me mentally taking note of adding more sundresses to my wardrobe and investing in a large pair of square sunglasses.

From bold flattering colors and prints to muted hues and trendy silhouettes, the dresses Meghan Markle wore on her and Prince Harry’s visit to Nigeria quickly became my summer dress inspo. I’m literally dreaming of walking around in a flowy yellow gown and pretending I have important business to attend to. But for now, that important business will be attending brunch this weekend with my friends.

If you found yourself obsessed with Meghan Markle’s dresses just like me, you found yourself in luck. Below, I’ve got six different outfits you can recreate to get that Meghan Markle look for less.

Go bold with a palm-leaf print

Meghan Markle is bringing all the summer vibes with this palm-leaf printed dress by Johanna Ortiz. Paired with simple leather sandals and square sunnies, this effortless look is easy to recreate with pieces you might already have in your closet. If you can’t get your hands on a palm-leaf printed dress, opt for a wavy or zebra-printed dress. These patterns are bold enough to feel like you’re on vacation when you’re wearing them, yet they’re still busy enough to complete the whole outfit.

Turn heads with a stunning red dress

Wearing a red dress is never going to steer you wrong. Meghan Markle wore a stunning red dress from the Nigerian brand Oríré during her trip while speaking on a panel discussing women leadership with Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala. Paired with simple nude heels and minimal accessories, Meghan Markle proves to us that having a stellar red dress in your wardrobe is essential to casually stun on any given day.

Embrace summer with a flowy yellow dress

If there’s one thing we love about Meghan Markle, it’s gotta be the fact that she is an (unashamed!) outfit repeater. It only makes sense. If you’ve got a closet of gorgeous designer dresses of course you’d want to wear them over and over again. Yellow is arguably the color of the summer, and seeing her step out in this Carolina Herrera number time after time proves how timeless of a shade it is.

Pair bold sunnies with a lightweight halter dress

With summer on the horizon, halter dresses are about to be seen everywhere. We’re especially loving halters with long strappy details that can be worn as a scarf or draped like a cape behind you. Meghan Markle wears her floral-print halter dress with her signature sunnies, and dangling beaded earrings. What can’t she pull off?

Mix gold and silver jewelry with a peach maxi dress

Leave it to Meghan Markle to throw on a sundress and call it a day. Take a page out of her book and wear that romantic maxi dress you have hanging up in your closet. When paired with your everyday accessories, it serves as an easy summer uniform to return to week after week. If you’re feeling it, lean into summer dressing and opt for the same shade of peach as Meghan’s. Peach perfection, if you asked us.
