preview for Kim Kardashian stars in new American Horror Story teaser

Kim Kardashian gave a revealing look into her co-parenting relationship with her ex-husband Kanye West along with how their oldest child, 10-year-old North West, sees him during the last episode of The Kardashians.

Kardashian speaks to her sister Kourtney Kardashian about it in a clip, saying North prefers living with West. “She’ll be like, ‘Dad is the best. He has it all figured out,’” Kim started, via E!. “‘He doesn’t have a nanny, he doesn’t have a chef, he doesn’t have security. He lives in an apartment.’ And she’ll start crying, ‘Why don’t you have an apartment? I can’t believe we don’t have an apartment.’”

Her sister commiserated, saying she has the same issue with her kids Penelope, Reign, and Mason’s perceptions of her ex-partner Scott Disick. “They do that at Scott’s too. ‘Dad has the best house, your house sucks. He has the best house. It’s not super big, the vibe’s better.’ I feel like everything falls on the parent that’s more involved.” She suggested Kim try to do more “normal” activities rather than luxurious ones with her children, like taking walks. Kardashian later shares she did some “one-on-one cooking” with North, which helped their relationship.

In a confessional, Kim noted how much North has taught her. “Kourtney always says that North is my lesson on this planet,” she said. “I’m supposed to learn even more about patience—she teaches me patience. She has taught me a lot about life.”

Earlier this week, Kim shared photos of the Clueless group costume she and North did together, in an example of their closeness:
