What does a “fashion faux pas” even mean anymore? If we’re analyzing the wardrobes of stars like Kendall Jenner, it’s clear that the very idea of rules about fashion is the only thing truly going out of style.
I mean, just take a look at the reality star’s attire this week in Miami, where the supermodel is reportedly promoting her tequila line, 818. Kenny’s Wednesday night (February 7) outfit featured a deep ocean-blue minidress with a boat neck, slouchy long sleeves, ruched panels across the waist and hips, and a ruffled peplum hemline.
While the dress itself would have surely been a statement on its own, Kendall took it a step further, layering it over a pair of matching stretchy pants that featured a flared trumpet silhouette and a split hem at the back. (I didn’t have “wearing a minidress over pants” on my 2024 Bingo card, but the styling hack is certainly on my radar now!)
To cap off the look, the celeb added a few black accessories that embodied the kind of elegant timelessness that often characterizes her wardrobe: strappy black stiletto heels from Manolo Blahnik and a puffy leather clutch bag from The Row.
Despite being only two months into 2024, Kendall has already had a fashion-packed new year.
She started it off with a rotation of beachy looks worn on a tropical getaway with best friend Hailey Bieber and younger sister Kylie Jenner, where she wore a see-through cream mesh gown from fellow supermodel Elsa Hosk’s fashion brand, Helsa, as well as so! many! bikinis!!! Afterward, she switched gears by traveling to Aspen, where she was spotted looking icy cool in a fur-trimmed Bottega Veneta minidress.
Love to see it!
