Kelsea Ballerini and Chase Stokes are still going strong, and Kelsea went ahead and included (a supremely cute photo of) him in a roundup of her tour highlights, which she captioned “last show of my favorite tour i’ve ever done tonight. phoenix, let’s make it *legendary* 😉🤍🫠”
These two have been together since January, and Chase recently revealed that he’s totally fine with fans calling him Kelsea’s “golden retriever boyfriend.” As he put it to Entertainment Tonight, “I’ll take the job. I’ll take it. I’ve got a golden retriever, half a golden retriever, he’s a golden retriever / German shepherd. But yeah, adds up. I’ll take it.”
He went on to say, “She seriously is the best human being on planet earth, and she’s so damn talented.”
Kelsea, meanwhile, wrote a super sweet post about the end of her tour, saying “This tour, this band, this crew, you. from the first show at radio city september of last year the day after subject to change came out, i remember being backstage wondering how i was going to get through it. feeling wildly naked in my life, with an empty tank, and everything rapidly shifting around me. but i showed up because you did. and then we added a second leg and it didn’t feel scary at all, it felt like the way i was coming back to myself and the origin of why little 12 year old me started making music. then rolling up the welcome mat came out, you let it into your lives in a way i never expected, so i started adding those songs to the shows, and we added the third and final leg of the tour. these last shows, every night i looked forward to the palpable, united healing that happened in the room. i’ll never be able to put into words the journey this tour has bookmarked for me personally, but for those that were a part of it…thank you. for the glitter, hugs, tears, homemade shirts and signs, best friend scream sings, for all of it. although it’s the end of such a beautiful chapter, we’re just getting started. 🤍😭”
