Katie Holmes has the perfect sartorial solution to beat the New York City heat: athleisure.

The actor and director stepped out Tuesday in a casual workout outfit composed of a stringy black sports bra, comfy green sweatpants by Alo, and gray sneakers. Her entire torso was exposed in the look, revealing her super-toned abs.

Her accessories for the low-key ’fit included a black leather shoulder bag, clear oval sunglasses, layers of dainty gold necklaces, and small elongated silver hoop earrings by Saskia Diez. Holmes seemed to wear no makeup and had her hair up in a loose ponytail.

The Dawson’s Creek alum is regularly spotted out in the city showcasing her relaxed street style and love of cozy, easy staples—quiet luxury, if you will.

Last month, Holmes attended the Chanel Tribeca Festival Women’s Lunch in Manhattan, where she wore a laid-back head-to-toe Chanel look consisting of a classic white T-shirt paired with a pair of loose-fitting light-wash jeans printed with faint white polka dots and the fashion house’s double CC logo. She topped off the look with a black knit jacket with round silver buttons, adding quilted black ballet flats adorned with the logo, a black quilted crossbody bag, layered gold necklaces, and a single dangling statement earring.

Of her approach to dressing, Holmes told Bazaar.com in an interview last year: “I love my T-shirts, and I love my vintage T-shirts. They’re so yummy. They’re a little dirty, a little stained or whatever, and that’s me.”
