Joey Graziadei just dropped a video addressing people’s concerns over the color of his eyes. In case this statement has you in a state of “????,” fans have been worried about the whites of Joey’s eyes sometimes appearing yellow in various moments throughout The Bachelor.

Basically, Bachelor Nation has turned into a worried mom, and Joey hopped on Instagram to reassure everyone, revealing he was diagnosed with Gilbert Syndrome.

“Hi everyone, I hope you are having a beautiful day,” Joey began the video. “I wanted to jump on here really quick and talk about something that I am seeing a lot of comments about, which is Joey’s yellow eyes.”

He continued, “So to give some context on that, I have to go all the way back to when I was in high school. I was sick for about a week and a half, and my mom thought it would be a good idea to go to the doctor.”

Joey explained that he did bloodwork, found out that he had a “very high” bilirubin count, and did a liver ultrasound.

“They found out that there was nothing that was necessarily wrong, like hepatitis, but they diagnosed me with something called Gilbert Syndrome,” he explained. “At the end of the day, I am told that I am healthy. It’s something that does affect the whites of my eyes, it makes it have those jaundice levels, which is why they look a little bit more yellow. It’s something I want to pay attention to more going into this year. I want to get my health right and make sure that I’m all good. But I at least wanted to give some background, let you know that to my knowledge, I am healthy.”

Happy to hear it!
