Class is in session at Godolkin University School of Crimefighting which only means that Gen V is now officially airing! The new spin-off of The Boys is introducing us to a new generation of supes as they get their powers and their lives in check before heading back into the real world. Well, that is if they survive. And since we already know how twisted and gruesome things in this universe can get, it’s definitely not the classic college show that you’ve ever seen before.
Here’s everything you need to know about Gen V‘s release schedule.
When does Gen V premiere?
The first three episodes of Gen V premiered on September 29, 2023, making it the perfect mini-binge before new episodes continued to premiere one at a time every Thursday night.

How many episodes of Gen V season 1 are there?
Just like its original series, The Boys, this spin-off series will only run for 8 episodes this first season. It’s likely it’ll stay that way if it gets renewed especially when you consider the fact that it’s the sweet spot for all other seasons of The Boys as well.
When does the next episode of Gen V season 1 drop?
New episodes are released every Thursday night at 8 PM ET / 5 PM PT, making it the perfect nighttime watch. Just…maybe don’t watch it over dinner. Don’t say we didn’t warn you!
