The finale of Emily in Paris season 2 left viewers with a big cliff-hanger: Will Emily still be “Emily in Paris” or will she become “Emily Back in Chicago”??? Honestly, I think the answer is pretty obvious. No matter what decisions Emily ends up making about her career and love life, she somehow has to stay in Paris—it’s literally the entire point of the show. And thanks to the ~official announcement~ earlier this year, we didn’t have to speculate and theorize because we knew we’d get to see how things shake out when Emily in Paris returned for seasons 3 and 4!

Yep, Netflix went riiight ahead and renewed Emily in Paris for not just one but two more seasons not long after season 2 premiered. A refresher for those of you who have been living under a rock may have missed it: A post on the show’s Instagram account from January 2022 read, “Say ‘bonjour’ to 3 & 4! 💋 EMILY IS OFFICIALLY RETURNING FOR TWO MORE SEASONS!” Eek!

Now, if you’re anything like us, you’ve already binged Emily in Paris season 3 and you probs know the answers to questions like: Will Emily be joining Sylvie’s new marketing company? and Did she try dating Londoner Alfie long-distance?!?! But if you’re already itching for more, here’s everything out there about season 4 so far.

When will Emily in Paris season 4 premiere?

Sadly, we don’t know juuust yet when Emily in Paris season 4 will premiere, but based on the show’s history, we can make an educated guess.

Season 1 hit Netflix way back in October 2020, season 2 debuted in December 2021, and season 3 just premiered on December 21, 2022. If the show follows a similar production schedule, season 4 could come out in the fall or winter of 2023, so mark your calendars, people!

Who is in the Emily in Paris season 4 cast?

While the Emily in Paris season 4 cast has yet to be confirmed, we’d say we’re probs qualified enough to take a good guess at who will likely be appearing, starting with:

  • Lily Collins as Emily
  • Ashley Park as Mindy
  • Lucas Bravo as Gabriel
  • Camille Razat as Camille
  • Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu as Sylvie
  • Samuel Arnold as Julien
  • Bruno Gouery as Luc
  • William Abadie as Antoine

SPOILER AHEAD:

Because we know you’re likely wondering about the one and only Lucien Laviscount (aka Alfie), we’re gonna have to say that we’re honestly not too sure about him after the whole exit-from-Camille’s-failed-wedding thing, but (!!) that’s not to say that’s the last we’ll be seeing of him, so who knows. ¯_(ツ)_/¯

What do we know about the Emily in Paris season 4 plot?

Not much is known yet about the plot of Emily in Paris season 4 (which is currently delayed because of the writers’ strike, FWIW), but Lily Collins is doing the lord’s work and giving fans some very early (and, yeah, very vague) teases about what’s in store for the upcoming season.

“We are getting ready for season 4 of Emily in Paris and are so excited to see what’s next for Emily. It’s safe to say we ended on a dramatic note last season, and surprise! It does not end there,” she explained in a new video that was shown at Netflix’s Tudum fan event in Sao Paulo, Brazil, on Saturday (per Entertainment Tonight). She also promised “answers” for all the big cliffhangers from season 3, like what is happening with Emily and Gabriel.

In addition to cliffhanger answers and drama, Lily let fans know that Emily will be venturing away from Paris in the upcoming season.

“What I can tell is we have more fun, more fashion and of course, more drama in store for you all,” she added. “Emily is going to have to decide if everything she’s ever wanted is really what she needs and while Emily’s heart will always remain true to Paris, her life takes some unexpected twists this season. Don’t be surprised to find her on a Roman holiday.”
