Did you see the first two seasons of Hacks? The HBO comedy follows a has-been comedian in Vegas who hires a plucky young writer to help her write jokes. Their chemistry — full of spars and, as time goes on, deep respect — propels the story forward, and lucky for us season three comes out today! Definitely recommend.

Zara pants

While grabbing coffee yesterday, I spotted a cute girl wearing a very cute pair of wide-leg cream pants with a frayed hem. I asked her where she found them, expecting to hear an expensive designer brand, but she said Zara! The sizing ends at waist size 31, unfortunately, but these and these look similarly good and go to pants size 30 and 40, respectively.

Phoebe bridges

Have you heard Phoebe Bridgers’s cover of The Cure’s ‘Friday I’m in Love’? It’s so slow and romantic. Three other great covers? ‘I Got You Babe’ by Boom Forest; ‘Somewhere Only We Know’ by Lily Allen; and, of course, ‘Blackbiird’ by Beyoncé. Always love hearing different takes on the same songs.

With two preteen/teenage boys, we eat a LOT of pasta in our house. But to switch things up, I made these cannellini bean toasts and they were a crowd-pleaser: garlicky, savory, almost creamy. What have you been cooking up recently?
