Between everyone spiraling over Selena Gomez’s Golden Globes convo with Taylor Swift (ah, to be a fly on that awards show ceremony wall!) and our collective interest in keeping up with all things football szn™️ each Sunday (still panic-Googling the simplest of terms, hbu?), it has truly been a time in pop culture across the board. Enter: the latest episode of RuPaul’s Drag Race season 16 to help you relax your mind and unwind so you can focus on your fave queens following this simple golden rule:

Yep, episode 2 of the series’ latest installment is here, and Cosmopolitan has an exclusive first look at the first 12 minutes, in which the second batch of contenders (reminder: this season’s crop of queens are being introduced in two groups of seven so they all get a moment to shine) shows up *and* out in the workroom as they meet each other for the first time.

In the clip above, competitors Hershii LiqCour-Jeté (Los Angeles, CA), Plasma (New York, NY), Geneva Karr (Brownsville, TX), Plane Jane (Boston, MA), Megami (Brooklyn, NY), Mhi’ya Iman Le’Paige (Miami, FL), and Nymphia Wind (Brooklyn, NY) all discuss their backgrounds and what makes them unique on the show—all the while giving fans a lesson on throwing *chef’s kiss* shade.

In the season 16 inaugural episode, the first half of the new cast embarked on the competition by taking part in a photo shoot on RuPaul’s front porch and a talent extravaganza.

This week, however, the mini challenge is to “work with someone who’s photographed everyone in Hollywood—and I do mean everyone,” according to Ru. Truly can’t wait to find out who the guest is, especially since episode 1 saw the iconic Charlize Theron walk in and make an appearance with *the* tastiest-looking treats.

You can officially watch season 16 of RuPaul’s Drag Race on MTV and Paramount+, with new episodes dropping every Friday at 8 p.m. ET. Happy watching!
