Ever had someone you know just answer every single question right on a game show? Or maybe you were that person when your family gathered around the TV and it was like you had your own special buzzer. Well, you might relate to one of the characters in Hulu’s upcoming movie, Quiz Lady.
In an exclusive clip for Cosmopolitan, you’re getting a special look at Quiz Game, a new film that stars Sandra Oh and Awkwafina as the most opposite sister duo on screen. Awkwafina plays Anne, the smart sister who hasn’t found a question that she can’t get right. Meanwhile, Sandra Oh plays Jenny, the fun alt sister who is always here for a good time.
While hanging out one night, it becomes very clear that Anne could totally beat anyone at a special quiz game called “Can’t Stop the Quiz”. Oh, and did we mention that Will Ferrell and Jason Schwartzman also make a special appearance? Yep, you can check them out in the special clip above.
According to 20th Century Fox, “a brilliant but tightly wound, gameshow-obsessed young woman, Anne (Awkwafina), and her estranged, train-wreck of a sister Jenny (Sandra Oh), must work together to help cover their mother’s gambling debts. When Anne’s beloved dog is kidnapped, they set out on a wild, cross-country trek to get the cash the only way they know how: by turning Anne into a bona fide gameshow champion.”
So get your buzzers ready, because you’re not going to want to miss this film once it comes out!
Quiz Lady premieres on Hulu on November 3.
