The Horror of Dolores Roach might be the best horror series of the year as Justina Machado makes a big return to TV in a role that is a total 180° from her beloved One Day at a Time role. And while you may never see an empanada the same way again, you’re definitely going to have a bloody good time as you watch Dolores unfold from scorned prisoner to serial killer throughout the show’s first season. And yes, you’ll be totally asking for a second which is probably why you’re here in the first place. With such a killer first season, will The Horror of Dolores Roach come back for another serving?
Here’s everything you need to know about The Horror of Dolores Roach season 2.
Is The Horror of Dolores Roach coming back for another season?
Amazon hasn’t made any decisions about season 2, but if they have another hit on their hands then there’s no doubt that they will bring it back. The series was based on a one-woman play and a podcast series. The podcast ran for two seasons, so there’s definitely more to the story!
What would season 2 be about?
So the show’s first season ends with Dolores seeking revenge on Dominic for everything he’s done. However, we don’t actually see if the person who opens the door is Dominic or someone else. Either way, she’s definitely going to have a lot of blood on her hands and we still don’t know if she actually got away with it.
When will season 2 of The Horror of Dolores Roach come out?
It’s hard to tell as Prime Video doesn’t have a set schedule for when their shows come back. There’s also the current Writers Strike, which means that scripts can’t be written until the studios officially agree to a deal. Hopefully, we won’t have to wait too long because we are definitely dying to find out what is next!
