Eva Longoria is bringing the color this summer.
The actor and Flamin’ Hot director shared an Instagram post this week showing off her latest vibrant look: a slinky lavender minidress. The asymmetrical piece featured a high leg slit and circular waist cutout on one side, as well as ruched details and a string tie on one shoulder. Longoria styled it elegantly, with clear heels with beige soles, a gold ring, and a Hailey Bieber–esque glazed-doughnut manicure.
Her hair was styled in silky waves and she wore rosy makeup.
“Happy first day of summer!💜💜 (last pic shows how we really feel),” Longoria wrote in the caption. The final photo shows the Desperate Housewives star smiling widely and popping her leg while carrying her little son, five-year-old Santiago Enrique Bastón, whom she shares with husband José Antonio “Pepe” Bastón.
Longoria loves a high-slit dress. Earlier this month, she walked the red carpet at the Latino International Film Festival in a dramatic black shirt dress that featured long sleeves and a leg slit on one side. Its long train fell down to the red carpet. Longoria paired it simply with black platform sandals by Christian Louboutin. She additionally accessorized with large diamond drop earrings and silver rings.
She’s also a sucker for a glamorous minidress. At the Oscars this year, she looked radiant in a semi-sheer piece from Zuhair Murad’s spring/summer 2023 couture collection. The monochrome dress was a work of art in itself—featuring geometric patterns throughout and embellished with clear crystals and white pearls. It featured a plunging neckline and built-in choker strap that doubled as a shimmering necklace. The sleeves were breezy though fastened at the wrists, and the Art Deco–inspired design came together at the center of the skirt, which cascaded down to the carpet.
