Dua Lipa just wore an updated version of the classic little black dress.

On Instagram today, the pop star shared photos of herself posing on a rocky shore facing the ocean while wearing an elegant ensemble, courtesy of Celine. The centerpiece of the outfit was a black minidress with a plunging backless silhouette and four pockets attached to the front, studded with ornate gold buttons. For a subtly sophisticated detail, the dress additionally featured white trim embellished with glittering ivory sequins.

Lipa paired the statement piece with caramel-leather gladiator sandals, also by Celine, as well as an array of luxe gold jewelry that included chunky hoop earrings, a delicate wristwatch, and textured rings. The Grammy winner further accessorized with diamond earring cuffs and a bracelet.

She captioned the pictures, “home 🇦🇱.”

This isn’t the first time Lipa has put a modern spin on the little black dress.

The day after the “Don’t Start Now” singer co-hosted the 2023 Met Gala, she stepped out in New York City looking effortlessly cool in a glossy black croc-embossed minidress by Versace. She styled the dress with a matching oversize leather jacket, shiny black pumps adorned with a black bow on the toe, sheer black tights, black Chanel square sunglasses, gold chain jewelry from Tiffany & Co., and a black leather shoulder bag by Bottega Veneta.

“I’ve always loved dressing up,” Lipa told Bazaar.com in 2017. “I like it when things look like you’ve just thrown them on and sometimes the things you really do just throw on look the best. I’ve always been inspired by the ’90s.”
