Decades after Destiny’s Child took the world by storm, the founding members of the iconic girl group reunited for a photo that could break the internet.
LeToya Luckett, one of the four original members of Destiny’s Child, shared a sweet picture of the group on Instagram. The photo appears to have been taken backstage during fellow founding member Beyoncé’s Renaissance World Tour. LeToya and three other members—founders Kelly Rowland and LaTavia Roberson, and Michelle Williams, who joined the group later—attended Bey’s hometown Houston show in September.
In the photo, Bey looks unassuming in a baggy black hoodie and pants set, while her friends are acing the tour dress code of sparkly silver attire. LeToya wears a metallic silver corset paired with black cargo pants and crystal embellished sandals. LaTavia has gone all out with a sheer black catsuit covered in silver sequins. Kelly has also opted for silver sequins, in a button-down paired with light-wash jeans. Finally, Michelle looks cool in a white blazer and sparkly crystal-embellished black pants.
LeToya reflected on the sweet moment in the post’s caption.
“✨ALL LOVE✨,” she wrote. “This was hands down my favorite moment of 2023 ❤️.” She continued, “May we all experience beautiful moments like this in 2024 @beyonce @kellyrowland @iamlatavia @michellewilliams All of the Chil[d]ren.”
LaTavia shared the same photo to her own Instagram, with the caption “My Sisters 4L.”
The founding members reunited again in November for the Los Angeles premiere of Beyoncé’s Renaissance concert film.
Beyoncé, Kelly, LeToya, and LaTavia co-founded Destiny’s Child in 1997. LeToya and LaTavia left the group in 1999, while Michelle became the last member to join, in 2000. Missing from the reunion was Farrah Franklin, who joined the group for five months after LeToya and LaTavia left.
