All the pretty girls have made their way to the floor, aka Beyoncé’s Renaissance movie premiere in London. I’m talking Blake Lively, I’m talking Taylor Swift, and, of course, I’m talking Queen B. Mother Beyoncé has officially arrived on the red carpet, and dear reader, I don’t think you’re ready for the massive serve that is her London premiere look:
Of course, the Grammy winner had to show 👏 out 👏 for her movie premiere in something fabulous. She wore her platinum blonde hair in a half-up, half-down ‘do and rocked a floor-length black sequined blazer with a plunging neckline. The star of her entire look, though? A lil pair of black panties with gold detailing on the front. Casual!
Bey even posed alongside her daughter, Blue Ivy, on the carpet. Prepare to clutch your heart while watching this extremely wholesome clip of Bey planting a kiss on Blue’s forehead 🥹:
According to a report by The New York Times, Bey opens up about Blue’s run as a dancer on the Renaissance tour in the film. The powerhouse detailed how her daughter had to fight for her spot during her performances of “My Power” and “Black Parade.”
“She told me she was ready to perform, and I told her no,” Beyoncé says in the flick. Blue was reportedly only going to be on stage for one or two shows, but that quickly changed as she found her groove alongside her mom. In a recent interview with Gayle King for CBS Mornings, Jay-Z gushed about Blue’s star rising on the Renaissance World Tour.
“Blue’s been born into this world that she didn’t ask. She’s been born into a life she didn’t ask for. So since she was born she’s been in, like, scrutiny and public eye, and everyone having an opinion,” Jay explained. “I know how nervous she was. I know how frightened she was. And she wanted to do it.”
He continued, “She wanted to do it the first night, and we was like, ‘Okay, if this is something you wanna do, you can’t just go out there. You gotta go work with the dancers, and go work.’ And she worked every day and we watched her work hard. She had a little icy pack thing on her back some days.”
