Anne Hathaway just debuted one of her most interesting looks to date, while on a walk in New York City.
The Devil Wears Prada star stepped out in Midtown Manhattan today in a half-denim, half-suit set that looks perfect for going from the office to happy hour. The top of the ultra-chic ensemble was a two-tone mini jacket that looked like a structured black collared suit blazer at the top and morphed into a sexy denim corset. The pants followed the same design, starting off as blue jeans and transitioning into black dress pants; at first glance, it even looked like Anne had tucked some baggy jeans into her chic trousers.
The quirky suit look didn’t need any accessories, but Anne added some modern glamour with a pair of shiny black platform heels by Christian Louboutin, sharp black sunglasses, and large silver hoop earrings. She wore natural makeup, a subtle raspberry lip, and a casual wavy hairdo.
Though she’s best known for her stylish movie characters, Anne’s personal style evolution is even more captivating.
Last month, for example, the actor attended the Albie Awards dinner, in partnership with Versace, in a silver-and-green gown designed by the fashion house. The fabulous metal mesh dress was actually the final look shown at Versace’s Spring/Summer 2024 fashion show. It featured a bias checkerboard motif with sparkling crystal-and-bead embroidery and satin straps with Medusa ’95 hardware. The actor styled the work of art with shiny silver heels adorned with a bow featuring the house’s Medusa logo, and silver jewelry, including a serpent cuff.
Weeks earlier, Anne wore another striking metallic gown to attend a Shiseido event in New York City—a gold vegan leather leaf paillette dress designed by CD Greene. She accessorized with layers of Bulgari diamond jewelry and strappy golden heels by Schutz.
