Disney is having a booked and busy year. Along with responding to anti-LGBTQ+ legislation in Florida and rolling out new Disney Parks attractions, the studio is keeping us entertained with an endless flow of new original television shows and movies. Thanks to its many brands (Hulu, Disney+, Marvel Studios, Lucasfilm), there’s really never been a shortage of exciting things coming out of the House of Mouse, but I think we can all agree that the new Disney movies coming in 2024 and beyond are especially exciting.
Disney’s 2024 movie lineup has a little bit of everything. There’s a big new addition being added to the Marvel Cinematic Universe (Deadpool 3), new live-action remakes of Disney animated classics like a new Lion King movie all about Mufasa, nostalgia-inducing sequels (looking at you, Moana 2), and a brand-new Disney animated film starring America Ferrera in the near future There’s something for everyone, whether you enjoy action over musicals or original animation over CGI.
You name it, Disney’s got it in the works. But you don’t have to take my word for it. Check out the list of new Disney movies coming in 2024 and beyond below and see for yourself. Watch the trailers, bookmark the dates, and get ready for more Disney magic.
