Picture this: You’re on a relaxing, picturesque all-American road trip that goes through the Grand Canyon, Yosemite, and Las Vegas with your SO. Romantic, right? But what if you’ve committed to this baecation after finding out that same partner cheated on you with someone else? That pretty much transforms the entire vibe of the trip—and that’s exactly what happens in Prime Video’s upcoming thriller series, Wilderness.

The teaser trailer for the TV show—which is based on the novel of the same name by B.E. Jones—was released on August 23 and featured a *very* familiar revenge song as its soundtrack. Ahem, “Look What You Made Me Do (Taylor’s Version),” anyone? For that reason alone, we can’t wait to tune in and see how everything unravels for British couple Liv and Will as they embark on quite a journey.

Here’s everything we know about Prime Video’s Wilderness, from its release date to its cast and more.

What is Wilderness about?

B.E. Jones’ novel, Wilderness, is the ~source material~ for the upcoming TV adaptation, and Prime Video has outlined the official synopsis below:

British couple Liv (Jenna Coleman) and Will (Jackson-Cohen) seem to have it all: a rock-solid marriage; a glamorous new life in New York thousands of miles from their provincial hometown; and still young enough to feel that their whole lives are ahead of them. Until Liv learns about Will’s affair. Heartbreak is swiftly followed by another emotion: fury. Revenge is her only option, and when Will proposes a trip around America’s epic National Parks to give their relationship a fresh start, Liv knows just how to get it… Wilderness is a twisted love story, where a dream holiday and a supposedly “happily-ever-after” quickly turns into a living nightmare.
