Sophie Turner has seemingly moved on amid her divorce from Joe Jonas (quick break to scream: GOOD FOR HER) and was spotted kissing a posh British aristocrat somewhat amusingly named Peregrine Pearson while chilling in Paris on Saturday (October 28).
Photos of Peregrine and Sophie kissing, or, if you prefer, “snogging,” outside the Gare du Nord railway station were published exclusively by The Sun, which also spoke to an eye-witness who said this:
“They arrived together at the chauffeur pick-up location outside of the station. It looked like they might have both come on the Eurostar from London. They stood there for a few minutes and were chatting and laughing a lot. He then took his hat off and leaned in to give her a big kiss. After the kiss they parted ways.”
Obviously, we, the people, must urgently educate ourselves on all things Peregrine. And there’s a lot to learn! Though, before we get started: If this man’s name vaguely reminds you of haunted Victorian ghosts, then you’re probably just thinking of the book series Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children. It’s unrelated.

Peregrine Is Destined to Be a Viscount
Like something straight out of Bridgerton, Peregrine is the heir to the 4th Viscount Cowdray. Meaning his father is the current Viscount Cowdray (actual name: Michael Orlando Weetman Pearson), a fancy landowner in West Sussex who has a giant estate that houses the Cowdray Park Polo Club. Viscount Cowdray also happens to be a major shareholder of his eponymous family company and casually produced the Rolling Stones film Sympathy for the Devil.
He Has Some Royal Ties
Peregrine’s grandmother Lady Anne Pamela was a first cousin of Princess Alice, Duchess of Gloucester. Princess Alice, meanwhile, was married to Prince Henry (son of King George V and Queen Mary). Here’s Princess Alice chilling next to Princess Diana:
His Family Is Worth £224 Million
A giant family company and tons of land makes for a pretty hefty bank account balance. And speaking of the family’s land, here is then-Prince Charles getting shirtless at the Cowdray Polo Club. You’re welcome!
He Works as a Property Developer
Peregrine co-founded Weetman, a “property investment and development company operating within the South East of England.”
Here’s his bio, if you’re curious:
“Previously with the Cowdray Estate, with whom he retains a strong affiliation, his focus was on tenant and landlord matters as well as more strategic planning opportunities including the delivery of 60 new homes in the heart of the estate. He started his career working as an assistant site manager for Cordles, a London based contractor.”
He Used to Date a Princess
Peregrine and King Charles’ goddaughter, Princess Maria-Olympia of Greece and Denmark, started dating in 2020. They broke up this past September, meaning both Peregrine and Sophie Turner are coming off long-term relationships.
He Has a Ton of Siblings
‘Kay so Peregrine’s dad, Viscount Cowdray, had a son named Sebastian with his girlfriend in 1970 (who is not an official heir due to the whole “out of wedlock” thing). Then Viscount Cowdray and his second wife, Marina Rose Cordle, went on to have five kids—three daughters named Eliza, Emily, and Catrina, followed by two sons: Peregrine (who was born in 1994 and is the official heir) and his brother Montague.
Also fun fact while we’re here: Eliza used to be married to Ned RocknRoll (who is now married to Kate Winslet).
