So…wedding planning is stressful. Full stop. But what’s been getting me through these last few months of insane floral prices and complicated seating charts has been daydreaming about my bachelorette party in none other than Las Vegas, Nevada. Pinch! Me!

As someone that likes to go out, you know, a moderate amount, I knew from the second I got engaged that I wanted the ~full~ bachelorette party experience. Obviously, Vegas was the destination of choice. And it did not disappoint.

Below, I’m walking you through exactly what you need to do/know/eat to have the best time celebrating love in the marriage capital of the world. So, whether you’re planning your BFFs bachelorette or your own, read on to get the scoop—these are my recommendations for the things that you need to have on your Las Vegas itinerary.

(P.S. The writer received free stays, meals, and experiences in order to write this story.)

Stay

Caesars Palace in Las Vegas: Sorry, but there’s nothing more iconic than staying at this hotel when you’re in Vegas. Situated on the Strip, it’s in a prime location for shopping, eating, gambling, and of course, clubbing. Four of my closest friends and I stayed in the Palace Premium Suite King with an adjoining room that featured two additional queen beds. If you can spring for a suite, I highly recommend it.

First off, having a suite really allows you to go to town with the decor. Festoon Balloons—a local, woman-owned balloon brand—ended up popping by (sorry, had to) the rooms to deck out the space for me, which I loved. They really made the spacious suite feel like a bachelorette party paradise. Also, having enough room for people to spread out is the key to making sure everyone has a good weekend. You really don’t want people breathing down each other’s necks. Having four bathrooms didn’t hurt either.

Play

Get pampered: I’ve always been a fan of experiencing the spa when staying at a nice hotel, and the Qua spa at Caesars Palace is unlike anything I’ve ever seen before. Whether you’re looking for a lil R&R before you hit the town or you need something to do before a little retail therapy, this is the place for you. I was treated to a CBD massage that left me calm, cool, and collected before a wild night began. The best part is that they also have day passes that give you access to all of their amenities, including three Roman soaking baths, a cedarwood sauna, an herbal steam room, and the Arctic ice room. The pass is a great option if you’re looking to keep the weekend affordable, but still want to make sure everyone has access to that luxe spa experience.

Hit a pool party: Listen, no bachelorette party is really complete without some sort of pool party, and Caesars’ Garden of the Gods Pool Oasis is *the* place to splash around. There are seven(!) different pool experiences. Seven! The Fortuna Pool features five swim-up blackjack tables, meaning you can go from swimming to gambling in a matter of seconds. Then, there’s the Venus Pool and Lounge, which is 21+ and has night swim hours. As for sunbathing (v necessary), you can opt for a daybed at any of the pools, or rent one of the 65 cabanas. We went with the Bacchus Pool Cabana, and it was giving major VIP energy. We had our own waitress to help with snacks and drinks, and the cabana itself had a fridge full of water (which is a must in the Vegas heat!) and a TV. Caesars Palace guests (hopefully you!) have complimentary access to the pool, but non-guests can also enter if they make a reservation, just FYI. Win-win!

Go dancing: OMNIA Nightclub is a hotspot located right inside Caesars Palace, so you don’t even have to leave the hotel to party if you don’t want to (a major pro!). It was designed by the internationally renowned Rockwell Group, and it’s honestly massive…like, 75,000 square feet massive. The multi-level venue encompasses a swanky ultra-lounge, a high-energy main room, and a breathtaking rooftop garden showcasing panoramic views of the Strip. When you’re planning your trip, make sure you take a look at what DJ is going to be at the club on the nights you’re there. We saw Martin Garrix and it was unforgettable— the right DJ can make all the difference. Also, be prepared to stay up late. We didn’t even go into the club until after midnight, because, let’s be real, time doesn’t exist in Vegas.

See a show: You really can’t go to Vegas without seeing some sort of show. And if Adele and/or Usher tickets are out of budget (relatable), RuPaul’s Drag Race LIVE! is calling your name. The production is based on the Emmy Award-winning reality drag show competition, and it’s hilarious, inspiring, and downright incredible. One of the best parts is the rotating cast of the world’s most famous drag queens—meaning you’ll have the chance to see some of your faves no matter what day of the week you attend.

        Eat

GIADA at The Cromwell: Soooo, this is your new favorite pasta place. I’m calling it now. Named after Food Network icon Giada De Laurentiis, this Italian restaurant has some of the most delicious pasta I’ve ever eaten. My friends and I enjoyed dishes like lemon spaghetti, cacio e pepe bucatini (served in a warm pecorino toscano cheese wheel!), and lobster ravioli. All that paired with delicious cocktails (I’m still thinking about the sangria) and gorge strip views… you really can’t go wrong. Pro tip: Get Giada’s signature bread board as an app. It’s a crowd-pleaser for sure.

Stanton Social Prime at Caesars Palace: This is the latest hotspot to open at Caesars Palace, and the leather-and-velvet furniture and jewel-toned decor had me feeling like I was in a speakeasy. If I had to describe this restaurant in one word, it would be inventive. From their pierogies stuffed with potato, goat cheese, and truffles to their French onion soup dumplings, I can guarantee you that you’ve never had any dishes quite like this before.

Vanderpump à Paris: I mean, at this point, how could you *not* stop by this Lisa Vanderpump-owned hotspot? Not only does this location feel hella Parisian, but it also has some of the most unique cocktails I’ve ever seen. I recommend the Flora Bora Bora, because, well, it tastes like the beach. If your palate is a little less adventurous, don’t worry—there are a ton of options for ya. Frosé, anyone?

Bacchanal Buffet: Trust me, there will come a point in the trip where you simply cannot make another group decision when it comes to food. That’s when you’re gonna want to go to Bacchanal Buffet for brunch. Not only was it recently renovated, but it literally has hundreds of food options all made by specialty chefs. Rarely do you eat enough fruit on a bachelorette trip, so I suggest opting for their smoothie station. But if you’re in need of some carbs, go for the light-and-fluffy pancakes. Other favorites were the reuben eggs benedict, and the brunch sliders, which had beef, truffled egg, and bacon. Long story short, this is the perfect place for a group—everyone will leave happy!

            Bonus Bachelorette Tips:

            • Don’t underestimate the power of a good bachelorette party theme. My brilliant friend Alyssa came up with “Mads World,” (my name is Maddie, if you missed it in the beginning!) and it was a huge hit. She made cups and shirts with a custom logo on them, and the Instas were unparalleled.
            • Have drinks waiting for you in your hotel room. Listen, I live in New York City, so I know when things are expensive. So believe me when I say drinks in Vegas are pricey. As an alternative, we had planned to have our drink of choice (bubbles!) waiting for us at the hotel, so we stocked up in advance on Mionetto Prosecco and had it delivered. Genius!
            • Go hard on the goodie bags. I really wanted to gift my friends (hi, Alyssa, Danella, Alex, and Larissa!) a little something-something for traveling just for me. I ended up putting together a little makeup bag and packed it full of goodies for the weekend and beyond. Obviously, it included a hangover kit—featuring Liquid IV, mouthwash, bandaids, etc. I also put some Bobbi Brown highlighters in there so everyone would be glowing, and a tube of Glossier Balm Dotcom, because you can never have too much of that. Everyone was obsessed!
