Huda Mustafa and Louis Russell may have found love outside the Love Island USA villa, but that doesn’t mean they couldn’t soft-launch their relationship in a tropical destination.
According to an Instagram Story post from Huda on Sunday, August 17, the couple is going strong. While they aren’t IG official in terms of a grid post, the pair posed for a sweet selfie after snorkeling during a recent vacation.
Louis also doubled down on the soft launch, posting a TikTok promoting his new track, “She Pretty,” on August 18. In the clip, a hand grabs his face off-camera, and fans are convinced it’s the Love Islander thanks to the matching tattoos and manicure.
The song also seems to be about his new flame, as it features lyrics like “TikTok know she pretty / IG know she pretty / Going viral ’cause she pretty / They follow ’cause she pretty.” (Shakespeare has been real quiet since Louis dropped this, just saying.)
Both soft launches come after the pair held hands on the red carpet of the Weapons premiere on July 31. The timing was…interesting, considering Too Hot to Handle alum Louis Russell is currently starring in season 3 of Netflix’s Perfect Match.
His Perfect Match castmate, Rachel Recchia, claimed that the move was “selfish” as it spoiled his fate on the show, which was still airing at the time.
“It’s literally airing—we have what, maybe two weeks? It feels, like, a little selfish,” Rachel said during an appearance on The Viall Files podcast on August 5. She revealed that Huda and Louis’ red carpet debut came in the middle of the Netflix reality series’ release schedule, adding, “It affects the whole cast.”
She confirmed that there’s no beef between her and Louis, though. “I love him as a person. I think he’s amazing,” she said. “I get along with him so well. He’s such great TV.”
