Igniting the Power Within: Nurturing Unity and Compassion in Education

THEME VISION:

At our conference, our mission is to ignite the power within educators, inspiring them to nurture unity and compassion in education. We believe that by fostering a sense of unity among educators and students alike, promoting empathy and understanding through compassionate educational practices, we can create an environment where every student thrives. Through engaging workshops, insightful discussions, and collaborative networking opportunities, we aim to empower educators with the tools they need to make a lasting impact on their students’ lives. Together, let us embark on this journey of growth and transformation a we work towards building a brighter future for education.

KEYNOTE:

Teaching on the Hardest Edges of Love

MJ Kraus is a very engaging school counselor in Omaha, NE; her main priority as a counselor is to facilitate student success in the classroom and help them become lifelong learners. She has been committed to provide empathy and facilitate growth for all students. She is a strong advocate for shame resilient classrooms. She believes vulnerability and courage are essential elements to building true community and authentic relationships.

$70 professionals ($75 after Feb. 17)

  • Please use UT NAME Call for Proposals Guide, as an outline for your Proposal writing process.
  • Minimum of 500 to a maximum of 700 words. This number does NOT include a Reference section.
  • Please do NOT include any identifying information in the Proposal section.
